Shincheonji bible study- What do you think the War in the Bible?

Have you ever heard about the Second Coming of Jesus?
If you had, what do you imagine his Second Coming would be?
Recently, there are the threat of war between North and South Korea.
It reminds you of that day?

Jesus said that the days of his Second Coming will be like the days of Noah and the days of Lot (Lk17:26-30).
Will these days be really happened?
Let's learn about the War in the Bible.

The War in the New Testament

The war, which is prophesied in the New Testament, is not a physical war between nations of the world, but is a spiritual war in which the believers (Christians) fight amongst each other. It is a war of doctrines between the people who belong to God and those who belong to Satan. It is a battle to seize ecclesiastical authority from each other, insisting the truth against lies and orthodoxy against heresy.

In the First Coming, the Israelites, who were the Jewish people, argued with Jesus using their doctrines. That is to say, Jesus and the Pharisees were the ones who fought against each other (Mt 15, Mt 23). In the same way, during the Second Coming, as recorded in Rev 13 and 12, those who fight do so using the words of their doctrines and their ecclesiastical authority.

Those who insist that the war written in the New testament is a war of one physical nation against another have greatly mistaken a spiritual war for a physical war. They do this because they don't know God or the meaning of the scriptures (Mt 22:29). Teaching misunderstandings like this, feeding others false truths and lies, is planting the weeds and giving the wine of adultery to drink. If the holy spirit of God were truly with them, they would not be sowing the false seeds.

The war prophesied in Mt 24 also happens within the temple. What is poured out onto the betrayers and destroyers in Rev 16 was not a physical bomb of the world; it is the wrath of God. What must also be known is the angels and horses who are bound at the great river Euphrates, those who killed a third of mankind, were not using the weapons of the world, but were using fire, smoke, and sulfur, which came out of the mouth of horses. Their tails, having heads, were like snakes and the horses used them to kill people (Rev 9:14-19). The head is the prominent men (leaders) and the tail is a prophet who teaches lies (Is 9:14-16). The fire, smoke, and sulfur which came out of the horse’s mouths, is the false doctrines. The people's spirits that receive these false doctrines will die.

All of God’s Saints need to receive the revelation of God in the end times of the world, to know the true meanings of God word.

Shincheonji - The Seeds of Two Spirits(2)

Main Reference: Mt 13:24-30

♠ What is the reason God would need to punish Physical Israel and create Spiritual Israel through Jesus?

The reason for this judgment was because God had made the people, those born from the sins of Adam his people, but they all betrayed, just like Adam (Hos 6:7). Therefore, God chose to make his people and kingdom, through the people born from His seed. To do this, God first promised to Jeremiah (Prophecy) and came to Jesus to sow the seed of God (Fulfillment). First, Jesus was born from the seed of God (Mt 1:18) and then through Jesus the seed of God was sown in the field (Mt 13:24, 27). Jesus also made a promised to come and harvest at the second coming (Mt 13:30; 24:31; Rv 14:14-16).

All people born from the sins of Adam have betrayed, but Jesus and his disciples, who were born from seed of God, did not betray. They completed their task, even though they suffered martyrdom. This is the difference between the people born from the physical seed and God’s seed.

The seed is the word of God (Lk 8:11), the word is the spirit and He called them god’s to whom the word of God came (Jn 10:35). Whomever is born from the seed of the spirit becomes God’s offspring (Acts 17:29). If the spirit of God lives in you, you are not of the realm of the flesh but are one with the realm of the spirit. The spirit gives life to the mortal body (Rom 8:9-11).

♠ God's people

Before Jesus came, God’s people and foreigners (outsiders) were separated from each other because of Abraham’s bloodline. After Jesus came, God’s people and foreigners were no longer separated by physical blood, but by either having the spirit of God or being without the spirit of God. Anyone born from the seed of God is a person of God and anyone born from the seed of Satan is a foreigner (outsider). The people born from the seed of God are those with the same spirit as God and become the family of God. The people born from the seed of Satan are those with the same spirit as Satan and become the family of Satan. The seed of God is the truth and the seed of Satan is lies. The seed of God is life and light (Jn 1:1-4), and the seed of Satan is death and darkness. These are the differences between the two kinds of people born from one of the two kinds of seeds. Who do you think is going to be saved at the second coming of Jesus? The one who is ignorant of the word of God is darkness and night (Hos 4:6, 1Th 5:4-8).

♠ The two kinds of seeds, trees and those vine

The two kinds of seeds, the seed of God and Satan, were growing together in the same field for the last 2,000 years, after the first coming of Jesus. At the second coming of Jesus, only the wheat is being harvested and is taken to spiritual Mount Zion (the barn), where the throne of God exist (Rv 14:1-5, 14-16). Whoever believes in the covenant of Jesus will be harvested to the barn, Mount Zion. The weeds will remained within the field (Mt 13:30).
God came to and became one with Jesus (Mt 3:16-17, Jn 10:30). At the first coming, Jesus was the true vine and the disciples were the branches. Since the branches remained in the vine, the true vine, they were able to bear lots of fruit (Jn 15:1-5). At the time of harvest, these good fruits of the true vines (the people born from the seed of God) were harvested and those who were left in the field were the bad fruits. This bad fruit is the venom of serpents, the deadly poison of cobras (Dt 32:32-33).

At the first coming of Jesus, God’s vine was Jesus and his disciples. Satan’s vine was the Pharisees and their people. They are both within one field (Christianity) and at the second coming of Jesus, they are being separated. Wine is from the fruit of the vine. Just as the revealed words Jesus spoke were the true and new wine at the first coming, Jesus’ new revealed words at the second coming are true and new wine of Jesus at that time. Also, just as the pastors of Satan the Pharisees’ words, was the bad wine at the first coming of Jesus, in the second coming the false words (commentaries) of the pastors of Babylon, the great prostitute and the beast with seven heads and ten horns in Rev 17, 18, are the venom of serpents, the maddening wine of adulteries.

If you ask the Christians of today, “what kind of wine are you drinking right now?” they will answer “Jesus’ new wine”. However this is because they do not know who their pastors and the spirit of the pastor belongs to. How come they do not know this? Because it is a mystery. Then how is it that there is one (a shepherd) who does know about this? This is because he saw and heard the mystery at a location in which Revelation 17, 18 has taken place.

There is Jesus’ vine, the new wine and Satan’s vine and the wine of adultery. The one who eats from the vine of Jesus and drinks the new wine will live. The one who eats of Satan’s (Babylon’s) vine and drinks the wine of adultery will die. Jesus, the true vine, is the tree of life (Jn 15:1, 5, Jn 6:47-51, 14:6), and the great prostitute is the tree of good and evil. The Christians of today need to distinguish between the two kinds of seed, tree, vine, and wine, through promised shepherd who saw and heard the events of Revelation. Therefore, they must be harvested and drink the new wine of Jesus’ true vine in order to enter the eternal kingdom and become people of heaven.

How many people are eating the fruit of tree of good and evil, Babylon’s wine of adulteries (Dan 4:20-21)?

In the four gospels (Mt 24), the temple of God is subjected to violence and the abomination that causes desolation is standing inside. The sun, moon, and stars, which belong to heaven, are falling from the sky, and all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries (Rev 6, 17, 18). All of this refers to the destruction of Spiritual Israel. At this time, the small amount of seed remaining is being sealed to create the 12 tribe of the New Heaven (New Spiritual Israel).

Whoever believes will follow Holy Spirit to come to Shincheonji and will be reborn as a person of heaven. This is what I sincerely pray for.

Shincheonji bible study; The meaning of Fire in the Bible

Fire

John the Baptist testified that Jesus would be the one who would baptize people with the holy spirit and with fire (Mt 3:11).
In Lk 12:49, Jesus said,
“I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!”

Similarly, the Old Testament compared God’s word in the mouth of Jeremiah to fire and God’s people to the wood the fire consumed (Jer 5:14).

According to Rv 11:5, fire from the mouths of God’s two witnesses devours anyone who tries to harm them. Taken together, all of these passages make it clear that the Bible uses fire to figuratively represent God’s word.

Why did God use fire to represent his word?

What characteristics do fire and the word share? God’s words can be full of love, grace, and mercy, but they can also be filled with judgment and wrath.
John said that Jesus would baptize with fire because the words he spoke would consume people’s sin and wickedness (Mt 3:11). Jesus wished in Lk 12:49 that his fire were already kindled because he wanted the words of the holy spirit that are like fire to enter people and consume their sins. Sometimes, in his grace, God causes our hearts to burn as we listen to his words (Lk 24:32).

In summary, fire represents God’s words of judgment—a cleansing baptism that consumes our sins. But fire can also represent God’s words of grace that burn within our hearts.

Shincheonji bible; The signs of Jesus' second coming (Mt 24)

God fulfilled the promise he made with Abraham at the time of Moses (Gn 15; Ex 12) and the prophecies he made through the Old Testament prophets at the time of Jesus’ first coming (Lk 24:44; Jn 19:30). Ever since Jesus made the new covenant with his people, Christians have been looking forward to being able to drink the new wine with Jesus when God’s kingdom comes (Mt 26:26-29; Lk 22:14-20). At that time, only those who write God’s laws in their minds and on their hearts will be God’s true chosen people (Heb 8:10). They are the people who are purchased with Jesus’ blood to become a kingdom and priests to serve God (Rv 7:9-14). Only people who wash their robes and make them white in the blood of the Lamb can become God’s people (Rv 7:9-14).

John 10:35 says that the scriptures cannot be broken, which means God always fulfills his prophecies. In Is 14:24, God promised, “Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.”

Today, almost 2,000 years have passed since Jesus’ first coming and the prophecies of the New Testament (i.e., the Gospels, the Epistles, and Revelation) are finally being fulfilled. Has anyone seen or heard their fulfillment before? Christians awaiting Jesus’ second coming must be able to use the signs of the end of the age to distinguish the time in which they are living so they can greet Jesus when he arrives.

These signs of Jesus’ second coming are described in Mt 24. The prophecies of Mt 24 were made at the time of Jesus’ first coming. Just like all the other prophecies made by God, these prophecies were made so they could be fulfilled in the future (Rv 21:6). When the signs described in the prophecies appear, Jesus will come with his angels like a thief in the night and harvest believers like wheat (Mt 13:30; Mt 13:39; Mt 24:30-31; Mt 24:42-44). Instead of accepting the fulfillment when it comes, people who do not know the meaning of the signs will persecute and curse those who disagree with them.

The events of Mt 24 take place in God’s holy temple (1 Cor 3:9; 1 Cor 3:17; Rv 1:20). According to the first verses of Mt 24, the temple is destroyed such that not one stone is left on another (Mt 24:1-2; Rv 13). The rest of Mt 24 is simply a explanation of this process of destruction.

The events of Mt 24 take place at the end of the age (Mt 13:39-40), which refers to the end of the world of Christianity. God’s temple and its saints at the end of the age are conquered by gentiles. At that time, the congregation members who can distinguish good from evil flee from the gentile invaders to salvation at Mount Zion (Mt 24:15-16; Rv 14:1-5). Those who refuse to leave the temple that is being destroyed will worship Satan’s false pastors and receive the mark of the beast (Rv 13). When Satan’s destroyers are preaching from the pulpit of the holy place, many false prophets and antichrists will appear to deceive people. According to Mt 24, even some of the saints God has chosen from the world and gathered to Mount Zion can be deceived (Mt 24:9-22). Matthew 24 also says that no one on the roof of his house should go down to take anything out of the house and no one in the field should go back to get his cloak because of the worst tribulation since the creation of the world is coming. As a result of this spiritual war and great tribulation, the congregation members of God’s temple return to being mere flesh. This is figuratively described as the sun, moon, and stars in the sky falling to the earth, plunging the world into the darkness of night (Gn 37:9-11; Mt 24:29; Rv 6:12-14).

When this spiritual night comes, the signs of Jesus’ second coming appear in the sky—God’s temple that has been destroyed. Jesus comes like a thief with the sounding of large trumpet and works together with his harvesting angels to collect all the wheat-like believers from the north, south, east, and west (Mt 24:30-31; Mt 24:42-44; Lk 13:28-29). Unfortunately, many people do not even realize these things are happening until they are swept away in a flood like the one that occurred in the days of Noah (Mt 24:37-39; Lk 17:26-27). At this time, the word of God is coming from a servant of God in a specific place. This “food at the proper time” (Mt 24:45-50) includes the words of Mt 24, the words of the open book in Rv 10, and the hidden manna in Rv 2:17. These words are the testimony of the fulfillment of the New Testament and the pastor who preaches them—the servant feeding others the food at the proper time—unites with Jesus at his second coming and inherits everything (Rv 3:12; Rv 3:21; Rv 21:7).

It is time for all Christians to recognize and understand the signs of the end of the world. It is time for all Christians to recognize Jesus and his chosen shepherd (Mt 7:7-8). Believers who unite with Satan and his destroyers to persecute God’s true people will be judged and sent to the hell. On the other hand, believers who prepare the lamp and the oil (Mt 25) will unite in marriage with the spirits of Jesus and the martyred saints and will inherit the kingdom of heaven (Rv 6:9-11; Rv 20:4-6; Rv 19; Rv 21:6-7).

After the temple of God from the previous heaven is destroyed according to prophecy (Mt 24:29; Rv 6), God’s will is done on earth as it is in heaven as his new kingdom is established by the promised pastor giving out the food at the proper time (Mt 6:10; Mt 24:30-31; Mt 24:45-47; Rv 7). This is the will and promise of God. This new kingdom of heaven is our faith and the hope of true believers.

Christians who have hope for the coming kingdom of heaven must distinguish the time in which they are living and find the promised pastor who is testifying about the fulfillment of the prophecies of the New Testament. It is by understanding and believing in the fulfillment that we attain salvation and eternal life.
