Shincheonji Man Hee Lee: Do not judge, or you too will be judged(Matt 7:1-2)

Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
For in the same way you judge others,
you will be judged, and with the measure you use,
it will be measured to you. (Matt 7:1-2)

Shouldn’t we speak words of righteousness and blessing instead of words that promote curses and persecution?
Anyone who does not yet know the truth about righteousness can easily acquire the proper knowledge by asking and learning. How can we talk about others while we ourselves are not yet perfect? No one can pass judgment without verifying for themselves first. We must regard God’s point of view and his word as our standard for judgment rather than relying on our own standards.

Shincheonji truth : The Judge in Heaven

< The Judge in Heaven >

 Main reference: Jn 16:8-11

What is judgment and who is the promised judge?

The judge is God. If God gives someone the authority to judge, then the person can judge with that authority he receives. People are judged according to what they did as recorded in the books (Rv 20:12).

· Judge of the First and the Old Testament
God and heaven that is promised to come in the Old Testament came to Jesus who overcame the world (Jn 1:29-34). Jesus whom God's spirit came upon came in the name of the Lord (Jn 5:43) and as light (life) (Jn 12:46, Jn 1:4). In the First Coming, God who came upon Jesus gave Jesus the authority to judge (Jn 5:22, 27). Therefore, Jesus was able to judge according to God's will and what was written in the Word. However, the reason he did not judge in the First Coming was so that God's promise, and the Scriptures can be fulfilled (Matt 26:51-54). Also, when Peter tried to wield a sword at one in the crowd who came to arrest Jesus, Jesus said to Peter, 'Put your sword away. Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?' (Jn 18:11).

This is about the judgment of God and Jesus who fulfilled the Old Testament.

·  Judge of the Second Coming and the New Testament
When and to whom will Jesus, who fulfilled the Old Testament and has promised to return, come upon in spirit?
In the First Coming, God came upon Jesus who overcame the world (Jn 16:33). In the Second Coming, where was God, Jesus, and heaven promised to come to? Jesus and heaven that comes in the Second Coming will come upon the one who overcomes as it was in the First Coming (Rv 3:12).

Jesus, who came upon the one who overcomes, gives authority to judge (white stone) as promised in Revelation 2 and 3 and becomes one with the one who overcomes (Rv 2:17). One who overcomes, whom Jesus' spirit was one with, comes in Jesus' name (Jn 14:26, Rv 19:10, 22:16) and gives the light of life. What the one who overcomes has seen and received is the entire event of Revelation, revealed Word, manna of truth, white stone, and the authority to judge (Rv 2,3).

Judgment is based on the person's action and is done according to the recorded Scriptures. As you saw in Revelation 12, the one that overcame did so by Jesus' blood and the word of testimony and he judges. The Counselor, the Spirit of truth, who comes in the name of Jesus, comes to the one who overcomes and judges saying 'It is sin not to believe in Jesus, it is righteousness not to see Jesus, the princes of this world will be condemned' (Jn 16:8-11).

Just as the pastors of the world (people of the law) were judged at the time of the First Coming of Jesus (Matt 11:12-13, Lk 16:16), in the Second Coming, the one who overcomes that receives the authority to judge judges the Spiritual Israel and the prophets (pastors) since the prophecies end. Those that do not believe this will also be judged. In the Bible there are two types of gods --the truth God and the false god (Jn 17:3, 8:41-44). As it is recorded, it is said that God and Jesus is the Word (Jn 1:1-4, 1 Jn 1:1-2).

The guardian cherub in Ezekiel 28 calls itself God (Ezekiel 28:2-9). In 2 Thessalonians 2:4, the destroyer said that he is God and in Genesis 3 the serpent tempts Eve that she will be like God if she eats from the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. What is being shown above is the false god who teaches that lies are truth. The Jews told Jesus that their father is God but Jesus said to them 'God is not your father, your father is the devil' (Jn 8:41-44). Also, 'knowing the true God and the one that he has sent, Jesus, is eternal life' (Jn 17:3). God said that 'Nobody knows the true God except the one who received the revelation from Jesus' (Matt 11:27). The reason is that because God is the revealed Word of the Bible (Jn 1:1), those that don't know the revealed Word become those that don't know God. The 'God' called out by those who testify to lies because they don't know the truth is referring to their father, the devil. The true God and His son speak the truth, and those that speak lies are born from the father of lies.

The first judgment is the judgment regarding truth and lies. The second judgment is the judgment that sends one to heaven or hell (Matt 23:33). The third judgment is the judgment that destroys (Rv 6, 8, 9, 13, 17, 18).

The people say with their mouths that they are carrying out a faith walk but they don't believe in the Word, curse, and persecute because they don't know Jesus' promise (prophecy) and the messenger whom he sends. The messenger that was sent has the authority to kill or to save.

The people love power and the world because they are arrogant and stubborn. Although the one who overcomes receives the persecution from them, he is one that has everything and has mastered heaven and earth. To bind the people he has chosen as his house, the devil prevents them from talking with those that have the Word. The reason being is that he is afraid that he and the house he has chosen will be revealed as false. Those that belong to the true God want to talk because they have confidence. This is how truth and false truth is revealed.

We, Shinchonji Church of Jesus Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, testify to the word of God and what he saw (the entire book of Revelation).  God who is the owner of the Word of life, Jesus, and heaven is with us. Whoever believes this will receive salvation and become the people of heaven.

Amen!

Shincheonji shepherd's voice: The concept of body and spirit

The concept of body and spirit

The concept refers to one’s thoughts (the contents of one’s thoughts, the system of judgment, the consistent opinion). God thinks about the plan of God, and Satan thinks about the plan of Satan. Liberal democracy thinks about the concept of liberal democracy, and communism thinks about the concept of communism. The politics on earth makes their politics into laws, and the politics in heaven makes the politics of the spirits in heaven into their laws. Physical or spiritual worlds make plans, and put their plans into action. That is the concept. A religious man cannot get involved in the politics of the world, and politicians cannot interrupt the religious world. It is because their ways are different.

Religion educates about heaven, that is the spiritual world, and the world educates about physical things and engages in politics. If a religious man gets involved in politics or physical things, he is not a truly religious person. Also, the politics in the world cannot govern religion. Politicians cannot use religious organizations as their political supporters. Equally, the religious man should not exercise political powers in the world. It is an act of arrogation. A religious man can have a job. However, it should not be related to religious organizations, but just their means of living.

If a religious man interrupts, damages one’s occupation or defiles one’s reputation because of a personal emotion or an unfair doctrine of a religious body, it is a physical and spiritual crime. Anyone whose concept between the body and the spirit is different is a wrong-doer whose body or spirit is deviated from its standard. The standard is the law, and God, the words of God.

A pastor who is the leader of religion is a missionary who should preach about the things of heaven. If the pastor gets involved in something other than his mission to preach sermons (e.g., ‘throw away the flag of the country, i.e. an extra-large thumbprint Korean flag’, ‘stop volunteering’, ‘stop holding cultural events’, ‘do not…’) he oversteps his authority, and he could even betray his own nation in some cases. No politician should be conniving in their behavior, because they are so biased. Today, the existing Christian world comes to an end because it was corrupt. If something becomes corrupt, it becomes worn out and disappears so that the new generation can be created. Why were the prophets in the Old Testament killed by the same religious people? Why were Jesus and his disciples killed in his first coming? That is because they testified the truth.

Today, while the world is in a darkened state, without the light of life which is the word, the true light of life (the truth) has come. However, people who were born with the spiritual seed of lawless man are trying again to kill the man who has come as a light, just as they had done in the past. That is because their false testimony is being revealed by the light.

Every follower wants to be saved. However, they have no way out from the pastors who are holding them. Why don’t the followers realize that the one who is leading them to hell is a false pastor?

The false pastor today is the most vicious one among the history of the bible for the last 6,000 years. A follower should not throw away God and his true words, even if he has to throw out everything he had.

Beautiful Shincheonji is the best kingdom in the world, one which is full of truth. The one who wants the truth will come to Shincheonji where there is the Spirit of truth, the spring of life, and the word (manna). Come here where all things are true.

Shincheonji Bible study) Korean Christianity in History(2)

Korean Christianity in History

Main reference: Mt 23:26-36

Why is the divided CCK, labeling Shincheonji as a heresy? When this question is asked, no one usually answers. People are calling Shincheonji as a heresy without any concrete reasons, just as the people did to Jesus. They seem to be doing so because their own congregation members have been going to Shincheonji, and because the number of their members is dramatically decreasing. All of creation, in heaven and on earth, are working to feed themselves and to survive. Likewise, believers have come to Shincheonji as they were looking for something to eat. They have come to Shincheonji because they were unable to find the word of life from their own churches, but have found it in Shincheonji.
This is the evidence Shincheonji is not a heresy. It is clear the churches, teaching the worldly words due to the lack of the word of life, are the true heresies.

Teaching commentaries, the words of men, is like preaching different gospels (Gal 1). The commentaries are the seed of the weeds and the wine of adulteries. Those who are feeding this wine of adulteries are intensely persecuting Shincheonji, as they they did to Jesus at the first coming--just like the Pharisees and the pastors during the first coming! If one examines the hardships of the prophets and the apostles in the 6,000 years of Bible history, as well as the afflictions of Shincheonji today, one will know there are those who persecute and those who are persecuted. Life and salvation have always been with those who are persecuted, although it is a small and narrow path (Mt 5:10-12). If anyone has the knowledge of the Bible, he will look for a place which receives persecution because of righteousness.

Within the world of Korean Christianity, salvation and curses are being granted at the same time. Salvation is in Shincheonji, the new promised kingdom. Curses, on the other hand, are with the denomination which regards lies as their own food, and has added to and/or subtracted from Revelation. One is now coming to an end, whereas the other is rapidly growing. This can be clearly seen with our own eyes. It is pitiful, despite seeing this the people do not realize. The Physical Israelites thought of themselves as the only chosen people at the time of the first coming. They neither realized they had sinned (the sin of the worshiping of gentile gods in 1 Kgs 11) and God had already left them, nor did they know Jesus, whom God was with. For these reasons they were judged. In other words, they were destroyed from a lack of biblical knowledge (Hos 4:6).

In the same manner, today's Protestant pastors, the pastors of Spiritual Israel, also consider themselves the only chosen people. They do not know they have sinned (they bowed down to the Japanese god during Japanese's colonization). They also received the mark from the beast and worshiped him today in Revelation 13. They neither know God left them, nor do they know God, who left them, has now come to Shincheonji.

Shincheonji is well aware of the end and the consequences of the Protestant churches. They were anticipated in Revelation 6 and 7, Revelation 13 and 14, and Revelation 18 and 19. People are all blind and deaf; even though they see this, they do not know. Even though they hear it, they do not understand. They are nothing but the dead because they do not have any senses. They are only in deep sleep while engaging in sleep-talking.

Wake up from your sleep Protestant Christians! The morning sun has risen, and the day has dawned. Whoever rejects the word of the Revelation (i.e. the revealed word) is unable to go to heaven. I pray all will understand and attain salvation.

Amen!

Shincheonji bible study) Korean Christianity in History(1)

Korean Christianity in History

Main reference: Mt 23:26-36

The main reference describes the real status of the pastors who have been deceived by Satan since the time of Adam. Matthew 5:11-12 makes references to the persecution occurring at the present time, as well as the persecution which happened during the first coming. In Acts 7 Stephen also spoke about the inherited traditions of murder and persecution by the false pastors who had existed from of old. Are the pastors who are busy persecuting others aware of these passages?

Having seen the cruel and barbarian acts of Roman Catholicism, Martin Luther conducted the Protestant Reformation, and through this reformation, Protestantism originated. It has been said in history, Calvin, a Protestant, seized ecclesiastical authority and murdered several saints of God. How can he be considered God’s pastor? Calvin established the Presbyterian Church (Calvin did not acknowledge Jesus Christ’s Revelation and excluded the book from the Bible). The Korean Presbyterian Church bowed down to the god of the Japanese Emperor and praised him during the time of Japanese colonization of Korea.

The Korean Christians who criticized these actions were put in prison. After Korea obtained independence from Japan, some Christians who came out of prison, founded a Christian denomination called Goshin. They separated themselves from the Korean Presbyterian Church, claiming there was no salvation in the Presbyterian Church.

This Presbyterian Church (conservatives) joined forces with the politicians. During the Korean military regime, the Korean Presbyterian church supported the amendments of a Korean law (1969) so the former president at that time would be able to serve as a president three times in a row. The Korean Christian Press Association made it known in their 7th Christian Press Forum (April 2008), the Christian Council of Korea (established in 1989) was an organization based on such Presbyterian Churches which supported the amendments of the Korean law.

During a certain time it was aired the politicians, who also serve as elders of the Christian Council of Korea, were twelve leaders. Because one of the elders of the Christian Council of Korea became a Korean president, they were stiff-necked. Korean Christianity has seemed to emerge from within politics. Why did this occur? It was because they considered people, the world, and authority more importantly than God.

God left Israel because of their sin--they worshiped gentile gods during the reign of Solomon--and they ended up becoming gentiles. What of the Korean Christians bowing down to the god of the Japanese, the gentiles? Is this not sin? Instead of repenting of what they have done, they are claiming to be orthodox and labeling innocent people as heretics, just because those people refuse to be part of their organization. Is this not true? Who are the true heretics? We need to ask God. According to God's word in the Bible, those who worship and bow down to pagan gods are determined to be gentiles and heretics. Furthermore, Revelation 13, 17, and 18 clearly presents how people have made up commentaries, and how they are teaching those commentaries instead of the words in the Bible. These commentaries are assuredly different gospels (Gal 1:8-9), and the act of teaching them is equated to the act of sowing of the weeds. It is also the act of feeding people wild wine (Satan's sermons), the wine of adulteries, instead of feeding them with true wine (Jesus' sermons of the holy spirit). The commentaries are in fact, Satan's laws and doctrines. Those who regard such commentaries as orthodoxy are thought to be people who have received the spirit of Satan.

The scriptures testify, in the end times of religion (Christianity), the believers who are part of heaven and are likened unto the sun, moon, and stars (Gn 37:9-10), fall to the earth due to the destroyers (Mt 24:29; Rv 6:12-13). People who began with God's word and the holy spirit have returned to mere flesh. If this is the case, they are now part of the dust, just like Adam. This is how the believers have fallen from heaven to the earth. The number of Korean Christians, once counted as twelve million, has dramatically dropped to eight million. This dramatic decrease of the number of Christians depicts the autumn leaves falling from trees by the winds. The eight million Korean Christians have again recently been divided into two organizations --the Christian Council of Korea (the CCK) and the Communion Churches in Korea (the CCIK). These two organizations, which love money, are the ringleaders, labeling others as heretics.

How ironic it is, these two organizations are now shouting at one another, saying the other is the heretic! Yes, it is true. They have been divided, and they are calling each other a heresy. On top of this, one of them is claiming the pastor of the other group is the worst heretic among all heretics. Each of the organizations is claiming to be the orthodoxy and calling each other a heresy. This, in fact, is their great tribulation. It is serving as a sign the Christian organizations are coming to an end. This is the end of the age, the end time of religion.

At one time the CCK was trying to lift up the people who were expelled from Shincheonji as some kind of special believers, and they were using those people as their own tools to insult and mock Shincheonji. Now, however, the CCK is labeling them as heretics. Is this not the game of the demons? In addition, the CCK is manipulating immature young adults to create anti-Shincheonji online cafes, and those cafes are being used as another tool to criticize and blame Shincheonji.

A true pastor would be someone who teaches and makes known the word of life to people who have a child-like heart and spirit, just as Shincheonji is doing. Only when one does this, is their action considered an action done according to God's will. Teaching people to insult and curse others is obviously the action of the devil. This is very similar to the actions of the pastors during Jesus' first coming. They bribed and used their own congregation members to speak lies in order to kill Jesus. The priests, elders, and the people of the time urged Pontius Pilate, who proclaimed the innocence of Jesus, to kill Jesus, by saying, "Let his blood be on us and our children" (Mt 27:20-26). The persecutors of this generation are just like the priests, elders, and the people during Jesus' first coming. They are conducting synonymous actions because the persecutors today are their spiritual descendants. The Bible makes it very clear, one receives salvation only by eating and drinking Jesus' flesh and blood (Jn 6), and one can receive the answers of his prayers only by praying in Jesus' name (Jn 14:13-14). There was a man who was expelled from Shincheonji, he was claiming we must eat and drink the flesh and the blood of the representative of Shincheonji, in order to attain salvation. He was also claiming we must pray in the name of the Shincheonji representative in order to receive the answers of our prayers. He was expelled due to these claims. Furthermore, he illegally deposited public church funds into his own bank account, and used it as if it were his own. He still, to this day, has not returned the money. Do you say these are acts of righteousness and orthodoxy? The CCK has appointed this man to be a righteous evangelist. It has been using him as a tool to curse Shincheonji and to conduct anti-Shincheonji seminars.

Shincheonji : Revelation in the New testament

No matter what people claim, the book of Revelation in the New Testament, the promise of God, will surely be fulfilled.

One must enter into Revelation in order to discover whether God can fulfill it or not.

Jesus promised in the New Testament what is yet to be fulfilled. He said, “I have told you now before it happens, so when it does happen you will believe” (Jn 14:29).

If anyone hears the news regarding the fulfillment of the New Testament, he must make an effort to go and verify the testimony through the Bible.
Such a person is a true believer.

Shincheonji Church : About denominations of christianity

What do you think about denominations of christianity?
Do you think all the denominations are right?

What should the Church of Jesus teach?
The teaching of the Church of Jesus is the education, which God is with. It is the education of heaven that brings the dead to life, grants the forgiveness of sin, resurrects people, makes people born again, and leads people from death to life.

What is the right Church?
Let's examine this.

*In the beginning the Word already existed; the Word was with God, and the Word was God. From the very beginning the Word was with God. Through him God made all things; not one thing in all creation was made without him. The Word was the source of life, and this life brought light to people.(John 1:1-4)

You see the verse, John 1:1, "the Word was God."
So, if the Church is with God, this Church must have the word of God.

About denominations of christianity.
There are a few Christian denominations in this globe that lack the word. The one that lacks the word the most is the Unification Church, second is the Catholic Church, third is Calvin’s Presbyterian Church, and fourth is the Full Gospel Church. It has been said that Protestantism emerged from Catholicism due to its sin and untruth. This Protestantism, however, has also been divided into hundreds of denominations due to the same reasons. If one closely investigates such divided denominations, he will be unable to see any biblical basis. The names and the doctrines of those denominations were created by people’s personal judgments. Even the pastors and church workers were appointed by men’s will.

Moses built the tabernacle according to what he had seen and heard in heaven. The Law with which he educated people was also granted by heaven. Likewise, Jesus went up to heaven, and he saw, heard, and received the command to teach the revelation (refer to Jn 3:13; Mt 11:27).

The denominations that have been created since Jesus’ ascension are not like Moses and Jesus. They have been created merely based on men’s own will.

What do you think?

Shincheonji truth - What's the truth? Shincheonji, or MBC's PD Notes?(3)

Revealing the Truth regarding MBC’s PD Notes’ Falsifying & Misleading Broadcast about Shincheonji, Aired on May 8th, 2007 & December 25th, 2007 (3)

Falsifying, Misleading Report 13. The portion regarding offerings:
In the broadcast aired on December 25th and May 8th of 2007, PD Notes reported, “Shincheonji has purchased about 1 acre of land and buildings near Gwacheon, and that money came from the congregation members.” PD Notes also aired an interview with a distorted content with Joo Young Moon (alias), “What was funny was that there was ranking according to the amount the members were paying, and would give cash prizes of 100 dollars and such to the group that was in the first place, promoting competition.” PD Notes commented through the broadcast aired on May 8th, 2007, that “there is a quite a bit of pressure to tithe,” and quoted an interview with Jung Eun Kim (alias) saying, “The members must fill out their names on the offering envelop, because if you don’t fill out your name on the envelop, it will mean that you did not gave offering. I think that’s even scarier than someone forcing you in an explicit way.” From such content, PD Notes aired a falsifying broadcast, alluding that Shincheonji Church is promoting its members to pay more tithe and offerings in a coercive way by giving pressure.

☞Correction· Counterevidence 13. After verifying the fact:
Finances of most Christian churches are made up of their members’ offerings, and purchasing land or building for a church with the offering of the members is the same in all churches, not just Shincheonji Church. Shincheonji Church has never forced the members to give offering, nor has it ever abused its members for it. Rather, Shincheonji gives a financial report to all members every month in order to show the transparency in regards to its management of finances. All it’s doing is to let all the department members to know the details of offering within the department at least once a month, it never promoted a competition in offering or gave pressure for it. Offering is given according to one’s faith.
What is true regarding Shincheonji Church is that it is systemizing all different areas—service attendance, participation in trainings, etc.—not just in the area of offerings, and recording their attendance and performances for the benefit of managing the members’ faith so that they can grow more in faith. Therefore, it is falsifying and misleading to air only the portion regarding offering.
Is it proper and just when all the church of the country does something, but corrupt when Shincheonji does the same? The reporting of MBC PD Notes is misleading and falsifying, no matter what the motivation was behind the airing.

Falsifying, Misleading Report 14. The portion of interviews of Seoul Ilbo Newspaper reporter and Religious Affairs official of the Culture and Travel Department:
On its broadcast aired on December 25th, 2007, PD Notes asserted that there were no apologies given during the interviews with the editor of Seoul Ilbo Newspaper and a person in charge of the Religious Affairs office of the Ministry of Culture and Travel, and that PD Notes did not apologize to Shinchonij Church in any shape or form. It also gave a falsifying report that “Shincheonji Church is using media outlets to convince its members that PD Notes is a lie,” and that “Shincheonji Church is deceiving its members with appalling lies, and damages from these lies are continuing.”

☞Correction, Counterevidence 14. After verifying the fact:
Based on the fact that the Religious Affairs office of the Ministry of Culture and Travel visited Shincheonji Church but could not find any charges against Shincheonji Church, and that the main content of the newspaper article titled, “PD Notes Proven to be False,” by Seoul Ilbo was based on the investigative agencies’ ruling that accusations of running away from homes, violence, embezzlement, etc. were found to be without any charges, and on the fact that though PD Notes did not publicly apologize to Shincheonji Church, the main producer in charge did personally apologize, the broadcast reporting that Shincheonji Church is using media outlets to convince its members with the assertion that PD Notes is a lie, and is different from facts.
Since it is not true that Shincheonji Church is deceiving its members with appalling lies, there is no damage cause by it, thus this portion of the broadcast is falsifying or misleading.
We Shincheonji teach the Revealed Word of life without cost to the hearts and the souls of those who are thirty for the Word, because there is no Word of life in corrupt churches. Is this causing “damage” to them? Or benefitting them? This can be understood even by little children.

We hereby unveil the motivation behind the falsifying and misleading reporting of MBC PD Notes and the lying informants.

Mr. Shin, who once was in charge of one of the branch churches belonging to Shinchonji decided to cause a coup by leaving his position of authority and his own home and creating division (Jude 1:6-21). He is the one who attempted to swallow up Shinchonji Church but was thrown out for committing blasphemy against the Spirit, even illegally acquiring documents and information by deceiving a secretary at the main office of Shinchonji.

On another hand, there was an involvement of a certain Mr. Oh of the Christian Council of Korea, with the information that his sister-in-law is the wife of an executive of MBC. This is the background story in which the falsifying and misleading broadcast of MBC PD Notes was aired.

So then, is not the motivation behind this falsifying and misleading report pressure and profit from advertisement?
We hereby clearly make known through the Internet broadcast regarding the lies of the falsifying broadcast to the citizens who were misled. Please watch and stand on the side of righteousness.

Among the 100,000 members of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony who have mastered the Bible, there are many important figures in different parts of the society and they also have parents, siblings, children, neighbors, friends and relatives. Not only is PD Notes playing the mouth of the ignorant and evil by giving falsifying and misleading report, they did not give a single word of apology even as they aired a rebuttal and a correction report.

The damage done to Shincheonji will not be recovered even if all of MBC was sold. Attempting to destroy God’s creation of Shincheonji is blasphemy against the Spirit, and such acts will not be forgiven in this age or the age to come (Ref. Mt 12:31). These are the words of Jesus.

It was only a matter of a couple of hours that PD Notes aired the falsifying and misleading report, but the shame from the fact that such a falsifying and misleading report and the truth will become an eternal gospel to be let known to the whole world.

What really should be reported are the pastors of their denominations that gave such falsifying and lying information to the producer. They do not hesitate to conduct inhumane and coercive conversion education, confinement, and violence, causing youth to run away and the parents to sue, also causing the victims to drop out of school and their workplaces. Not only do the conversion educators make personal attacks, but they would take away the victims’ cellphones, handcuffing the wrists and the feet of the victims, taping up the victims’ mouths, forcefully treating children like animals, committing acts that are unimaginable. Such acts were not committed by the parents’ own will, but done by the orders of the pastors who conduct conversion education, as told by the parents and their children.

We, Shincheonji do not have any reason to cause people to run away from their homes or to confine them, to beat them, or to cause them to drop out of schools and workplaces, confine them in mental institutions or to sue them, tape their mouths or handcuff them, and do not give any reasons for the parents to sue, either. Members of Shinchonji carried on their faith in peace and joy, attended workplaces and schools well. Their parents and their families were normal, too.

Then why did the producer of MBC PD Notes only hear the words of the conversion pastors and blamed Shincheonji for the acts committed by those pastors, giving falsifying and misleading report? We want to hear the truth from them.

If a producer or a reporter avoids the truth and only report according to the words of the informants and by piecing together what matches to his biased intention of the production of the program, can he really be called a producer and a reporter? He should be called a fake producer and a fake reporter, only wanting the popularity of the public.

We believe, without any doubt, that whether what was reported by PD Notes was falsifying and misleading or not must be judged by the viewers after hearing the counterargument report.

Those who truly believe in God and Jesus must speak truthful words!

Shincheonji truth - What's the truth? Shincheonji, or MBC's PD Notes?(1)

Revealing the Truth regarding MBC’s PD Notes’ Falsifying & Misleading Broadcast about Shincheonji, Aired on May 8th, 2007 & December 25th, 2007 (1)

● This article will be separated and published into parts (1)~(3) due its length.

First, we reveal the life of faith of Man Hee Lee, the representative of
Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony.

As a descendant of a Korean royal family that had 500 years of tradition, Representative Lee was born in a poor farming family on September 15th, 1931. His name was given by his grandfather after a dream he had before Representative Lee was born, called “Man Hee (萬熙),” which means a complete and perfect light.

Representative Lee began his walk of faith at a young age by praying with his grandfather, developing a habit of prayers in the mornings and in the evenings (on Sundays he would pray on top of a mountain). He, however, had never gone to church. One day while he was praying, a “great star” that he frequently saw before came down near him from high up in the sky. For three days it continuously appeared before him.
He then met a person of spirit and wrote of letter of allegiance on a mountaintop with his blood. He started to attend a church and began his life of faith. While carrying out his walk of faith within a church, he saw rebelliousness of pastors, loyal efforts on behalf of congregation members, and heard many prayers too. He also went through harsh struggles as he was carrying out his faithwalk. He was even put in a situation of being penniless.

One day he met the Lord coming in the clouds from northeast, and he heard His voice and went back to the place he was commanded to go (the First Tabernacle) and sent letters (with the content of telling them to repent) according to the command. He saw the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation of the New Testament, and received the Revealed Word (the open scroll). This was something beyond anyone’s imagination. To testify to what he has seen and heard was a very difficult and overwhelming task. And there were not many who would hear and believe, even after he testified to them.
In spite of all this, following the command he received, he established the Twelve Tribes in the nation according to the Bible. Then, he established free theology centers all over the nation where people can study in an organized and a systematic way. Crowds of believers came to study the Revealed Word thereafter.

In the midst of this, the phenomenon of rapid increase of Shincheonji was made known in the Christian world in the midst of the rapid decrease among the 12 million Protestant population in the country. Rumors added upon rumors, and many churches began to watch their members. Without any Biblical evidence, the Christian Council of Korea labeled Shincheonji as a cult, trying to block their own members with their words, from going to Shincheonji. Nevertheless, their church members still secretly came out to Shincheonji.
This is because of the corruption of the Protestant churches and the lack of the Word and God in their churches that the members gathered to Shincheonji where God and the Word is at.
In these circumstances there was a second method and an attempt that took place to stop their church members from coming out to Shincheonji. This was the falsifying and misleading broadcast of MBC “PD Notes” titled, ‘The Suspicious Secrets of Shincheonji.’ The broadcasting of “PD Notes” was a falsifying and misleading broadcast, fabricated by people who belong to the CCK by uniting with those who committed sin and left Shincheonji. This was an act of deception to make not only Christians, but also non-believers around the country believe the lie. The people who believe in this lie are those who became deceived.

○ Next is the 「Correction·Counterargument Document regarding the Falsifying Broadcast of MBC PD Notes」.

Falsifying, Misleading Report 1. The scene of smashing a lock with a hammer :
On May 8, 2007, PD Notes broadcasted a scene where an older male smashed a lock with a hammer, with subtitles, “Assault, run away, even accusing their parents.”

Correction·Counterevidence 1. After verifying the fact:
This is a scene of a person from the building maintenance service of ‘Jae-il shopping center’ breaking the entrance door of the machine room of another business, and this is not related to Shincheonji Church of Jesus (abbreviation of “Shincheonji”). But it was falsely reported as if Shincheonji Church was an organization that encourages assaults, youth to run way from homes and suing their parents.

Falsifying, Misleading Report 2. The Portion regarding Min Hee Jung (alias) in a vegetative state :
On May 8, 2007, PD Notes broadcasted a scene of a hospitalized patient lying in bed. With the intent to distort the truth, the report falsely stated, “With the agreement of the family we went to visit Min Hee Jung. It was 3 years after she joined Shincheonji. Min Hee was in a vegetative state in her flowerily age of 28. She went through conflicts with her family because of Shincheonji, and she jumped out of a 5story building during a conflict … Can she be thinking of Shincheonji and Mr. Man Hee Lee now?”

Correction·Counterevidence 2. After verifying the fact:
Min Hee Jung’s (alias) suffering of the sudden accident, and the conflict between the family, had nothing to do with Shincheonji Church of Jesus. (At the time of the accident, she was studying at a Shincheonji Mission Center, but she was not a member of Shincheonji Church of Jesus). It was reported that Min Hee Jung (alias) jumped out of a 5-story building. But according to an investigation conducted by the insurance company, it was confirmed that this accident occurred as Min Hee was going down the balcony and lost her footing as she fell. However, motivated by the intent of accusing Shincheonji, PD Note falsely reported the story without checking the facts.
At the time of Min Hee’s accident, she was not studying at the Mission Center for 3 years as reported, but actually 6 months, and she was also commuting to work from her sister’s house. It was confirmed that she came to study at the Mission Center when she had time.
If it is true that her sister listened to a certain pastor’s advice and was locking up Min Hee so that she will not be able to continue to study, then it is the fault of her sister and the pastor, and not Shincheonji Church. To report the accident as if it was the fault of Shincheonji is a biased, falsifying and misleading report.

Falsifying, Misleading Report 3. The edited scenes interchanging between the cherry-blossom viewing trip and Min Hee Jung’s sickbed:
PD Notes broadcasted edited scenes interchanging between the scene of
Min Hee Jung’s sickbed and the scenes from a cherry-blossom viewing trip. In the report, a commentary said, “We met Shincheonji’s religious leader Man Hee Lee at an unexpected location. Where the fully bloomed cherry-blossom leaves were splendidly falling, the religious leader and his churchwomen were enjoying the cherry-blossom viewing.
They falsely and misleadingly broadcasted this scene to suggest that the women of Shincheonji Church and the chairman were committing adultery together or that there was a messy sexual culture, typical of a cultish organization.

Correction·Counterevidence 3. After verifying the fact:
What was broadcasted was a footage of a trip to capture historical place of Shincheonji church to what is now a zoo (near the older church that the Chairman used to attend). One of the people on the trip had given this trip information to Mr. Shin who betrayed Shincheonji. Mr. Shin then passed on the information to the production team of PD Notes. PD Notes broadcasted these scenes as if they coincidentally witnessed this trip, though it was prepared in detail to mislead their viewers to make a judgment.
By interchanging between scenes of the person in a vegetative state with female members of Shincheonji Church and the Chairman’s trip of cherry blossom viewing, PD Notes falsely and misleadingly reported Shincheonji and the Chairman to be irresponsible and heartless. There were about 10 Culture Department members who were at the historic place of Shincheonji Church, with men and women together in one place. What was so wrong about that? It is certain that this was a report with a misleading intention.

Falsifying, Misleading Report 4. The portion regarding youth running away from home and families being destroyed:
PD Notes on December 25, 2007 misleadingly reported that
   1) Most young adults who have fallen into Shincheonji are leaving their  schools,     jobs, and even their families.
   2) What is Shincheonji to the members who gave all of their lives by believing in  Shincheonji and its leader Mr. Man Hee Lee, as their lives and families have already been destroyed?
   3) The families of the people whose wives, husbands and children have fallen into Shincheonji are breaking apart, as they are going through much suffering and pain.
  4) Sons and daughters run away from homes, husbands and wives are being divorced. If a family is broken because of religion, then it cannot be a religion with its true meaning.

Correction·Counterevidence 4. After verifying the fact:
   1) Most young-adults at Shincheonji church are not leaving their schools, jobs and families due to religious issues,
   2) Also, the congregation members of Shincheonji have not given up their whole entire lives in Shincheonji, they have not broken their personal lives or their families, and it is falsifying to say that the lives and families of the congregation members have been broke apart because of Shincheonji,
   3) Even if the wife, husband, or children do go to Shinchonji, their families do not break apart because of it. It is a false report to say that these individuals are going through much suffering and pain because of Shincheonji.
   4) It is not confirmed that sons and daughters ran away from their homes, husbands and wives are divorced, and families break apart because of religion, and to say that Shincheonji is not a religion with its true meaning.

The above are the things that are done for conversion education (taking school off, taking time off their jobs, running away from home, imprisoned in mental institutions, being beaten etc…). These beast-like actions are conducted by the conversion educators but blamed on Shincheonji, to block the congregation members from coming out to Shincheonji. This was falsely reported to destroy Shincheonji by planting false image of Shincheonji to the society.

Falsifying, Misleading Report 5. The portion regarding divorce:
On December 25th, 2007 and May 8th, 2007, PD Notes reported that wives, husbands and children are going through serious pain because their families being broken up due to their falling into Shincheonji. It broadcasted an interview with Jin Soo Lee (alias), who said, “The trust is completely crumbled down. Starting from the beginning, they continued their complete work of deception, and because of this, we decided to divorce.” Also in an interview with Soo Kyung Shin (alias), it broadcasted, “I don’t understand why I went through so much trouble because of this organization called Shincheonji and have to live with my two children without a husband, and why did these events, such as my husband leaving the house, take place? We were a family that had no issues, but because of Shincheonji… If Shincheonji just did not do this then we, I mean I would not have to go through this painful sufferings. Truly, I am so saddened.”

Correction·Counterevidence 5. After verifying the fact:
There was no evidence that Shincheonji Church was responsible for being the cause of people away from homes and the breaking apart of families. Even from the investigative officials reported after seeing the PD Notes aired on May 8th, 2007 episode that, “Faith is based on the religious freedom of a believer, and there were no signs of force, abuse, kidnapping, and other illegal activities, and there was no charge of embezzlement.” This was the reason in detail that the investigative officials disclosed regarding such charges being dismissed, and most of the families of the congregation members of Shincheonji Church are not broken apart but are sound. These are the facts that PD Notes should have seen clearly and also report, but it ignored such facts and distorted the facts to match with its intent of the broadcast. The reason is to break up Shincheonji, that was the intention of this distorted broadcasting.
