Shincheonji: The Seed of God & the Inherited Seed of the Sinner

The Seed of God & the Inherited Seed of the Sinner

Main reference: Jer 31:27

The main reference is the word which God prophesied to Jeremiah, the son of Hilkiah, roughly 2,600 years ago.  He promised to sow the seed of man and the seed of animals. About 600 years after it was promised, God came to Jesus and sowed seed (Mt 13).

What is the seed of man, and what is the seed of animal?

Jesus referred to this seed as the secret of the kingdom of heaven in Matthew 13:10-11. The seed (the seed of man) which Jesus, the Son of Man, planted, was the word of God (Lk 8:11). The seed (the seed of animals) that the Pharisees, who were the snakes, the animals, planted was the word of the devil (Mt 23). These were spiritual seeds, not physical seeds. Since they were spiritual seeds, they were planted in people’s hearts. Thus, people’s hearts are figurative fields (1 Cor 3:9).

Religion transcends science. If oil runs out of a lamp, then the light will soon be put out. In the same logic, the breath of life which was given during Adam’s time (Gn 2:7) gradually decreased. People lived nearly 1,000 years and then died at that time. The people of today, the children of Adam, however, do not even live 100 years before they die. They die in this way because the life line has been disconnected [from God]. Their life cannot be replenished due to the disconnection, and their breath of life has run out.

What is this life? That life is the word of God. God, who is the word, left men, and as a result, the life line has been disconnected. This is why people’s life expectancy has decreased. The sinner who ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil might seems to be alive because he has a soul, but his spirit is dead. Flesh gives birth to flesh, and spirit gives birth to spirit (refer to Jn 3:1-6). Therefore, only when one receives the breath of life from God, will he become a living spirit again. His dead spirit will resurrect from his own tomb and come out of it.

No one can enter heaven unless they are born again of God’s spirit and His seed. Before they are born again, they bear the genes of the sinner, the serpent, and they have both good and evil within them. Under this situation, they are like beasts (serpents) which are born of the seed of animals. How can such people live with God in heaven? God chose Adam’s descendants (Noah, Moses, etc.) and worked through them for about 4,000 years, but as a result of what was in their genes, they ended up betraying God. This is why God prophesied in Jeremiah 31, and He gave birth to Jesus through His seed in Luke 1. In doing so, God also allowed Jesus’ disciples to be born again. Since Jesus and his disciples were born again, they did not betray, and they were devoted and faithful even to the point of martyrdom. This is the new work which Jesus carried out. The work of the seed of God’s Son, who is without sin, has begun (Jer 31:22, 27; Mt 13; Jn 1:12-13). This seed has been sown for about 2,000 years. Today, those who are born of this seed are harvested, and God’s new kingdom, heaven, is constructed (Rv 14).

Let us examine the beast, the entity of good and evil.

The beast is the serpent. It was the serpent that deceived Eve. The Pharisees were snakes. Even the seven heads and the beast with ten horns in Revelation are the serpents, the group of the dragon. According to Revelation 12:9 and 20:2, the serpent is the devil, Satan, and the dragon. Whoever is born of the genes of this serpent is also a serpent (Mt 13:25-30, 38-39). The serpent was one of the wild animals that God created (Gn 3:1). Eve and Adam ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which the serpent gave to them. Unlike the words of the serpent, they neither became like God, nor did they live, but they died.

There is life in God’s word (Jn 1:1-4), but there is poison in the serpent’s word. Whoever receives the word of this poison also tells lies because both good and evil dwell within that person. His end is death. The serpent has the poison of good and evil, which kills life. According to Deuteronomy 32:32-33, the vine is the same as the snake. The wine, which is made of the grapes, the fruit of the vine, represents the poison and the venom of the serpent. Why did the serpent conduct such actions? He attempted to take away what belonged to God, and to become like God.

This is also portrayed in Ezekiel 28. This serpent was the archangel who sinned, just as it says in Isaiah 14. He was one of the four living creatures in the North, South, East, and West, whom God ordained. He was full of wisdom, and he was a perfect seal. Every precious stone adorned him. He was in the Garden of Eden and walked among the fiery stones. However, wickedness was found in him. He proclaimed himself to be God. This entity was good, but he became evil. Since his wickedness kills life, the life of those who receive his word will die.

What are these two types of trees and their fruit?

If one eats the fruit of the tree of life, he will live eternally (Gn 3:22). If one eats the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, he will die (Gn 2:17). God spoke in Psalm 78, “I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter hidden things, things from of old.” Through coming to Jesus, God spoke hidden things from of old in parables (Mt 13:34-35).

According to the parable in Matthew 13:31-32, if two types of seed are sown, two types of trees grow from them, just like in Genesis 2:9. They become big trees, and birds come and perch in them. A tree symbolizes a person (pastor), and a bird symbolizes a spirit. Jesus was described as a tree in John 15, and his twelve disciples as branches. The twelve branches bore twelve kinds of crops every month. Furthermore, since Jesus referred to himself as the way, the truth, and the life, Jesus is the tree of life in Revelation 22. On the other hand, Babylon in Revelation 18 is the kingdom of demons. This Babylon was the organization of King, Nebuchadnezzar, in Daniel 4:20. This tree bears much fruit. Beasts find shelter under the tree, and birds have nesting places in its branches. What kind of tree is this? It is the tree of the serpent, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Its fruit, the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, is the same as the venom of the serpent, which kills life if one eats.

Between the fruit of these two trees, the fruit of the tree of life (firstfruit) represents the word of truth, and the people who are born of this word, according to James 1:18. The fruit made of the word is a person who is born of the word. The identity of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which is the ancient secret in the Bible, is not a plant in nature. The serpent (the archangel) who betrayed God was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and his word was his fruit. In short, the fruit of good and evil is the same as the venom of the serpent. It symbolizes a lie that kills life, as well as people who are born of untruth, the venom of the serpent. This fruit of good and evil is depicted as the fruit which Babylon longed for, in Revelation 18:14. Jesus spoke about this in parables (Mt 13). According to Jesus’ promise (Jn 16:25), the true identity has been made known today. The serpent and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil both symbolize a false pastor.

Why do the scriptures say the seed of animals? Just as it says in Proverb 30:2-3, a person who does not know God and His word is compared to a beast. In other words, God compared people who speak their own words rather than the word of God, to the beast, because the beast does not have the word of God. Ask animals. They neither perceive the word, nor can they speak the word.

Today, those who have not received God’s seed, but have instead received the seed of flesh are the people who have been born of the genes of Adam, the sinner, for the last 6,000 years. The genes of Adam are tainted, the mixture of good and evil. We must know what the Bible tells us, and who we are according to the Bible. We also must perceive what kind of era we are living in according to the Bible.

The next series of this article will speak about Genesis 1, 2, and 3. Let us all enter into the word and be born again of that seed. I am praying for this.

Shincheonji: The Lamp and Oil to Receive Jesus at His Second Coming

The Lamp and Oil to Receive Jesus at His Second Coming
Main reference: Mt 25 (Mt 22; Rv 19); Jer 31; Ez 39; Hos 2
What is the lamp and oil that one needs to prepare in order to receive the Lord when he returns?
In Matthew 25, Jesus said that those who do not prepare the lamp and oil cannot receive the bridegroom Jesus, and they will be left outside the wedding banquet. Is Jesus referring to a literal lamp and oil? Or are they metaphors? According to the Scriptures “I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter hidden things, things from of old,” (Ps 78:2), Jesus “did not say anything to them without using a parable” (Mt 13:34-35).

What does the lamp and oil symbolise? Jesus told this parable using the ancient Israelite wedding banquet custom. In those days, the Israelites held their wedding banquets at night. Each bridesmaid would carry a lamp to receive the bridegroom and lead him into the house and into the room where the bride waits.

God said in Jeremiah 31, “… I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt... they broke my covenant though I was a husband to them.” He also spoke in Hosea 2:19-20, “I will betroth you to me forever.” In the same manner, Jesus has said that he will come in the position of a bridegroom. Like the Israelites that came out of Egypt, we too have become the brides. Why is Jesus expressed as the groom and we as the brides? Jesus is spirit and we are flesh, the house for the spirit. We become one with the Lord by embracing the Lord in our hearts. This is a spiritual marriage. In this sense, the metaphor of the bridegroom and brides is used. This can also be found in Apostle Paul’s letter when he stated, “I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him” (2 Cor 11:2).

In order to partake in this spiritual wedding banquet and to receive the Lord, one must prepare the lamp and the oil. In Moses and Aaron's case, Aaron used olive oil to light up the lamps in the tabernacle (Lv 24). In Zechariah 4, two olive trees and seven lamps appear. The seven lamps were the seven spirits before the throne (Rv 4). The two olive trees beside the lampstand, symbolises the pastors who served the Lord (Zec 4:14). In Revelation 11, the two witnesses who stand before the Lord are likened to two olive trees. Thus, spiritual 'oil’ symbolises the word of testimony that comes out through the mouths of the two witnesses. They have seen and heard the fulfilment of the prophecies of the entire Revelation and this is testified just as they were commanded. This very word of testimony is the oil of the Holy Spirit of the Lord.

What is the lamp? Just as Jesus is the light (Jn 12:46) and the Word (1 Jn 1:1), the spiritual lamp is Jesus’ word of promise, that is, the Bible. [Since the witnesses, likened onto olive trees, know the word (prophecies) of the Bible that was hidden through the parables and its physical fulfilments, the word of the Holy Spirit, which testifies about the physical realities that have been fulfilled is the oil, which lights up the Bible]. The main reference (Mt 25) mentions those who sell the oil, which refers to the olive trees i.e. the witnesses. Only those who receive the revealed word from these witnesses, the olive trees, and gain the understanding are able to receive the returning Lord.

At the time of the First Coming, the Jews failed to receive their God as their groom despite having the Old Testament (prophecies). This was due to their lack of understanding of the words of the promise. Likewise today, if one does not know the returning path of the Lord and the promised pastor, they will be unable to recognise God, the Holy City of New Jerusalem coming down from heaven, and Jesus when they come and only become persecutors. Without the proper teaching, the pastors of each denomination will be held responsible for their members’ ignorance. The Bible even promises after which events and to whom heaven, God and Jesus would come (Rv 3:12).

The word of the New Testament is the path, the lamp and the light the Lord uses to return. The oil of the Holy Spirit is the revealed word, which is the evidence of the fulfilment of Revelation. Being part of the fulfilment (the physical realities and entities) transpires as, being reborn in a new image as the new covenant is fulfilled in you. The eligibility of receiving the Lord at the wedding banquet is preparing the lamp and the oil, and acting in accordance to the prophecy and its physical fulfilment. The five qualifications include:  being harvested, being sealed, becoming a part of the twelve tribes, not adding to and/or taking away from Revelation, and having your name recorded in the book of life. This is the new covenant that believers must keep. God made it known to us that we will be able to reign eternally as kings, as His Kingdom (heaven) and his priests, if we obtain the five qualifications. These are the marriage qualifications to receive the Lord, and serve as a sign that the lamp and oil has been prepared. If one’s lamp shines no light due to a lack of oil, this means their heart has turned dark from not knowing the Bible's prophecy and its physical fulfilment and signifies the deficiency of their faith. How can such person receive the Lord if their position is like that of a non-believer? Like the sun, moon, and stars of the sky have darkened and fallen to the ground, they have returned to being mere flesh, despite having begun their faith with the Holy Spirit. Although this is the reality, they do not realise that they are in this situation and therefore they are in the night.

In 1 Thessalonians 5 there are those who are asleep at night and urged them to awake. Those who do not have the light will get destroyed, but those who become like the light of the day will attain salvation.

Today, at the time of the Second Coming, anyone involved in the acts of persecution and cursing is a pastor of Satan. Such actions serve as the evidence that they are a part of Satan’s people. It is only those who believe and keep the word of promise whom will attain salvation. I pray for all to believe and be saved.

Amen!

Shincheonji bible study: The Time of the Second Coming which isLike the Times of Noah and Lot (2)

The Time of the Second Coming which is
Like the Times of Noah and Lot(2)

Main reference: Luke 17:22-30

3) Today's church

Today's churches have formed an enormous organization, and it has turned into the
marketplace where people buy and sell authority. According to Matthew 24, the temple of the chosen people was sabotaged and destroyed by the gentiles. Those who belong to heaven went dark and fell, just as the sun, moon, and stars go dark and fall from the sky. The scriptures also explain how the destroyer stands in the holy place and reigns over people. Revelation 13 and 18 portrays the fact the chosen people have been captured by the gentiles, and they have received the mark from the gentile pastors of Satan and worshiped them. Furthermore, all nations have fallen because of Satan's wine of adulteries. Can anyone say they have already gained salvation and are the orthodoxy? People neither seem to care about their corruption and sin, nor do they know the new covenant established through the blood and the word of the Bible. Today, Spiritual Israel has merely turned into the world of leaders, who are oppressing their congregation members with the authority they have exchanged with one another.

4) What should truly believers do?

If one truly believes in God and his word, the Bible, they must at least consider the words which say the days of the second coming will be like the days of Noah and Lot, and they must reflect upon these words themselves. The reality, however, is believers are not concerned with those words in the scriptures. But instead, they have so much ignorance and arrogance within them, don’t they? How can they claim to believe in God and the Bible?

If the scriptures make references to the end times or the end of the age, believers should have thought at least once of whose end it refers to. If it was the Tabernacle Temple in heaven which fell, believers should have known the end referred to the end of the religious world, not of the world of non-believers. If one has acted according to their own will for the sake of money and authority, how heavy their punishment will be!

5) What would be like the end of the world?

Several places in the Bible predicted the end of Christianity. They speak about how the first heaven and first earth will disappear. It speaks of how the second heaven, the new heaven and new earth will be created after the first heaven (the Spiritual Israelites). If one is a true believer, they will attentively listen to the word of the Bible and will not conduct any wickedness. Today's pastors and the congregation members, however, have betrayed God and the word, and they have become one with the devil. Are they not persecuting the returning Lord once again?

This is the act of sin which appears at the time of the second coming, just like at the times of Noah and Lot. Is this not the reality of the chosen people of the first heaven, the Spiritual Israelites? Have they not become evil men just like the Physical Israelite at the first coming?

This generation approves of any words from a religious organization which has seized authority, and it sides with that organization. Knowing the enormous size of this organization, even the authority figures in the world have affiliated with them, and they despise and look down upon the poor and the minority. Nevertheless, God is righteous. There will be judgment just like in the days of Noah and Lot. Even if it is a small group, God will still acknowledge righteous faith. If one does not believe in God's word of promise and does not even make an effort to know it, and if they put men's words above God's words, and oppress others to believe in men's words, they will certainly not escape being judged.

If one believes in the word of the Lord, which says today is like the days of Noah and Lot, they will be able to know what is taking place today.

We have seen the beginning and the end of Adam's world in the Bible. We have also seen the beginning and the end of the world (Canaan) of Noah, the ninth descendant of Adam. Through the time of the first coming, we have witnessed the beginning and the end of the world of the Israelites, the descendants of Abraham, who was also the tenth descendant of Noah.

** Conclusion

The Spiritual Israelites originated from Jesus, and the era of the gospel of the Spiritual Israelites has lasted for the past 2,000 years. What was promised as the new covenant in the gospel of heaven, which Jesus and his disciples have preached for approximately 2,000 years? It has been promised in the gospel, the Spiritual Israelites and the gospel will come to an end through the second coming of the Lord, and the era of the new Spiritual Israel will launch. The events which occur during this transition of the eras are described to be synonymous as the events during the days of Noah and Lot. This very word also makes known how there will be the betrayal of the chosen people, the destruction by the gentiles, judgment, salvation, and re-creation. Believers in this current world are not interested in these events. Why aren’t they interested in them? It is because they have betrayed and have been tainted by the gentiles just like Adam and the Physical Israelites. At the time of the Lord's second coming, this current era will be judged and brought to an end. A new era and a new kingdom, the twelve tribes of the priests and the great multitude dressed in white, are promised to be created through the blood. All of these are promised through blood as a covenant, and these are the words of the promise in the New Testament. The saints who perceive, see, and believe in this will attain salvation. The only place of salvation is Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony.

Happy Shincheonji: The Time of the Second Coming which is Like the Times of Noah and Lot(1)

The Time of the Second Coming which is
Like the Times of Noah and Lot

Main reference: Luke 17:22-30

What does it mean when the scriptures say, one will not see the days of the Son of Man although they may long to see it, and the days of the Son of Man will be like the days of Noah and Lot?

1) How will God come?

One will be unable to see the days of the Son of Man, although they long to see it, because in the second coming the Lord will come as a spirit. The days of the Son of Man will be like the days of Noah and Lot because judgment will occur suddenly, just as it took place in the days of Noah and Lot. During the time of the judgment, it was only eight people in Noah's family and three people in Lot's family who were saved. The world was quiet. People were eating, drinking, selling, buying, marrying, and giving in marriage. Nothing was different from an ordinary life, but the judgment suddenly began. The scriptures, therefore, speak about how it will be the same in the time of the second coming.

2) The reason why people were judged during those times

The reason why people were judged during those times was because of the corruption and the betrayal of the previous or first heaven. The main reference in the New Testament refers to the corruption of the Spiritual Israelites at the time of the Lord's second coming. They are judged because of their acts of betrayal. Looking back on the reality of the Spiritual Israelites, which have lasted for the past 2,000 years, there is no one who truly knows God and the Bible. It is not easy to find people who believe in the Bible. Despite such corruption, people claim they are the orthodoxy, and they have attained salvation and the holy spirit. They treat others who are not part of their own organizations as heretics. Is this the command of the Lord?

Shincheonji Words of God : The Trees in the Bible(3)

1. Why is it that only the tree of life appears in Rv 22 without the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?

The tree of the knowledge of good and evil disappears as the dragon of Babylon, which is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, is seized and locked up (Rv 20:1-3), and as his pastors are also captured and judged in Rv 19 and Rv 20.

(Revelation 20:1-3) Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key of the abyss and a heavy chain.  He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent—that is, the Devil, or Satan—and chained him up for a thousand years. The angel threw him into the abyss, locked it, and sealed it, so that he could not deceive the nations any more until the thousand years were over. After that he must be set loose for a little while.

(Revelation 18:2-3) He cried out in a loud voice: “She has fallen! Great Babylon has fallen! She is now haunted by demons and unclean spirits; all kinds of filthy and hateful birds live in her.  For all the nations have drunk her wine—the strong wine of her immoral lust. The kings of the earth practiced sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the world grew rich from her unrestrained lust.”

The Sabbath rest and peace can come to this earth as Satan and his pastors disappear.

-> In short, a tree represents a spirit and the pastors who belong to that spirit (Is 5:7). The fruit of the tree represents the word and the congregation members. Two types of trees are God and the devil. The pastors appointed by each one of them are also the trees born from the seed according to Mt 13:31-32. It is to these trees that birds (spirits) come and perch in. God and Jesus are the word (Jn 1:1; 1 Jn 1:1). People born of this word are the firstfruits. This is the secret of the kingdom of heaven, and they become the children of the word, the spiritual sons.

Whoever does not know the parables, the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, becomes a gentile and cannot receive the forgiveness of his sin (Mk 4:11-12). Today is the time when facts are being plainly explained, and not with more figures of speech (Jn 16:25). Whoever believes in this will be saved.

Shincheonji bible study - The two types of trees in the bible(1)

Let's learn about the two types of trees in the bible.
Genesis says there are two types of trees with Adam and Eve. One  is the tree of life and the other is the knowledge of good and eveil.

1. What are they?

(Genesis 2:2) ....In the middle of the garden stood the tree that gives life and the tree that gives knowledge of what is good and what is bad.

2. What would be happened if they eat those fruits?

* The tree that gives life's
(Genesis 3:22) Then the Lord God said, “Now these human beings have become like one of us and have knowledge of what is good and what is bad. They must not be allowed to take fruit from the tree that gives life, eat it, and live forever.”

* The tree that gives the knowledge of good and eveil
(Genesis 2:17) except the tree that gives knowledge of what is good and what is bad. You must not eat the fruit of that tree; if you do, you will die the same day.”

"In other words, one gives you forever life and the other gives you death."

3. Why is it important?

Many of Christian do not consider the trees, but it is very important to them.
They regard this affair as one of history in the bible. However, the two types of trees were shown many times in the bible and even Revelation, too. They are all connected and have the meaning in them. If so, it is worth to know, isn't it?
We need to know it in order not to eat the fruit of evil, and to have forever life from God.

Next time, we are going to learn about this more.

Shincheonji words - Israel Expelled from Heaven(2)

What happened to Israelites?

According to Jesus' prophecies regarding future events in Mt 24 and Rv 6, the sun, moon, and stars are expelled from heaven just like Adam. Those sun, moon, and stars today represent the Spiritual Israelites. This is the event that occurs at the time of Revelation, at the end of the age. Not only were they expelled and cast down from heaven in Rv 6, but their spirits were also killed under the false and gentile pastors—yet they still have not recognized this (Rv 8 and Rv 9).

Why were they unable to shine their light, and why were they expelled from heaven?
It was because they were just like Adam and Solomon in receiving the mark from the dragon's beast with seven heads and ten horns, the false pastors who belong to the gentile gods (the spirit of the devil) in Rv 13, and in worshiping them and accepting Satan's teachings—the figurative wine of adulteries, the venom of serpents and the deadly poison of cobras.

The conclusion of the betrayers and the destroyers
In Rv 16, the bowls of wrath were poured out unto the betrayers (the Spiritual Israelites) and the destroyers (the false pastors, the dragon's beast with seven heads and ten horns) so that such facts would be made known to them. Without knowing that their actions brought them the bowls of wrath, the betrayers and the destroyers insulted the messenger sent by the Lord and labeled him as a heretic.

The word of the serpent is death whereas the word of God is life. The promised book of Revelation has been fulfilled from chapter 1 to chapter 22 without having added to or subtracted from it. Although the betrayers and the destroyers hear the fulfillment of Revelation, they do not know it just like the deaf and beasts. Although they see it, they do not know it just like the blind. They are only carrying out arrogant actions.

I (the promised pastor) have traveled around the world a few times and have made known the physical fulfillment of Revelation. Yesterday and today, and until the day of the Sabbath-rest, I will continue to proclaim that God's will, the twelve tribes—God's new kingdom and new people promised through the blood of Jesus—have been established as the eternal gospel.

Shincheonji words - Israel Expelled from Heaven(1)

Main reference: Rv 6, Mt 24

What is the Israel that was expelled from heaven?

Israel means “the one who overcomes” (Gn 32:28). “Israel” is the name given to the one who overcomes.

There are three types of Israel in the Bible.
One is Physical Israel that originated from Israel (the name given to Jacob after he overcame in Gn 35:10). Another is Spiritual Israel. Jesus became Spiritual Israel when he overcame (Jn 16:33). The other is New Spiritual Israel. One has become New Spiritual Israel today when he fought and overcame the group of the dragon (Rv 12:11).

Starts and ends of Israelites
The descendants of the Physical Israelites came to an end due to their corruption at the time of Jesus' First Coming (Lk 16:16). Likewise, the Spiritual Israelites also come to an end due to their corruption at the time of Jesus' Second Coming (Rv 6; Rv 8; Rv 9; Rv 16). After these two Israelites were brought to an end because of their corruption, the kingdom and the people promised again in Revelation were created by the blood of Jesus and the seed of God. They are the New Spiritual Israelites and God's eternal new kingdom.

The Israelites who were expelled due to their corruption!
Just as God brought Adam's world to an end during Noah's time, God finished the Physical Israelites at Jesus' First Coming because of their worshiping of gentile gods during Solomon's reign. After the end of the Physical Israelites, twelve disciples were appointed as the Spiritual Israelites.

Today, roughly 2,000 years after they were created, the Spiritual Israelites received the mark from the group of the dragon and worshiped them in Rv 13. As a result of their actions, they were judged in Rv 6 and Rv 16, and they were brought to an end. Afterwards, the twelve tribes of the New Spiritual Israelites have been created through the people who were harvested and sealed in Rv 7 and Rv 14.

Adam was expelled from the Garden of Eden, God's dwelling place, due to his sin. Cain, too, was expelled from Adam's presence. In Gn 37:9-11, Jacob's family was symbolized by the sun, moon, and stars. The place for the chosen people, the tabernacle, can also be likened unto heaven where the sun, moon, and stars are. Adam's tabernacle where God dwelt was heaven. Thus, being expelled from this place is the same as being expelled from heaven. [Adam] could no longer shine the light in heaven and was expelled from there.

The definition of Heaven
If the place where God dwells is heaven, the place where God's family, his chosen people, dwells can also be heaven. Being expelled from this heaven is the same as falling from heaven. The Jerusalem tabernacle where God resided was heaven. In that very location, the chosen people, the Israelites, betrayed God by worshiping gentile gods, just like Adam. Consequently, God had to leave them, and the Pharisees—the pastors of the gentile gods, the destroyers—came to rule over that place instead (Mt 23).

The pastors of the gentile gods and the Israelites, however, did not realize this situation.
They made claims to both Jesus, who was serving God, and to Pontius Pilate that they had no king but Caesar, the king of the gentiles (Jn 19:15). They neither knew their sin, nor did they know that God had left them, and that the devil, the pastors of the serpent, was ruling over them. They only thought of themselves as the chosen people of God.

Shincheonji word - Genesis Chapter 1(2)

♣ Fourth day (vv. 14-19)

And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, *and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. *God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. *God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, *to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. *And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.

God creates a greater light and a lesser light in the expanse, and lets them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years. God lets the greater light (the sun) govern the day, and the lesser light (the moon) govern the night. He also creates stars and sets them in the expanse to govern the day and the night, and separates light from darkness.

Let us examine some problems we are facing in Genesis 1.
God creates the sky on the second day and the earth on the third day. In Revelation 21, it says the new heaven and earth created, was made known after the first heaven and earth disappeared. In light of this content in Rv 21, let us examine what the sky (the surface of the deep) and the waters are on the first day.
The light appears on the first day, but there is no sun, moon, or stars in the expanse created on the second day. The grass, vegetation, and the trees created on the third day, can only exist through the light of the first day. Since the evening and morning repeat three times, bringing the third day, God calls each of them the first, second, and the third days.

If these are referring to the light, day, and night of the natural world, what are the sun (the greater light), moon (the lesser light), and stars on the fourth day? How come the seasons, days, and years start to be marked from the fourth day? Does this mean that there are two Suns in the sky? On top of these questions, why is the sky located in the middle of the waters?

Having considered such problems, if the creation of Gn 1 is understood as the creation of the physical world, it is illogical and makes absolutely no sense. Only when it is viewed as the spiritual creation of God’s world, can it be taken logically.

Now, let us understand the creation on the fourth day.
God finds one pastor (light) when the heaven and earth (the first heaven and earth) of one generation becomes chaotic and dark (first day). God establishes his tabernacle, the sky (the expanse) through that pastor (second day). By having God’s tabernacle established, people of the world (the water below or the sea) are distinguished from the dry ground (God’s people), which are revealed to the world. Through these people of God, God lets good vegetation grow from the land (fourth day). This good vegetation also represents God’s saints. This is the creation that occurred both in the times of Adam and Noah.
On the fourth day, God structures the throne of the kingdom of heaven—the sun, moon, and stars—through the saints who are previously gathered. From this time, the seasons, days, and years of God’s kingdom can be marked and counted. However, the beginning of the creation starts from the first day. This kingdom of God comes to govern the heaven and earth, day and night.

♣ Fifth day (vv. 20-23)

And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky. *So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. *God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth. *And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.
God let the water teem with living creatures and let birds fly above the earth, across the expanse of the sky. God also creates different kinds of fish and birds and blesses them. God commands them to be fruitful and increase in number in the seas and on the earth. Jesus compares birds to spirits, and fish to people. This means, therefore, that God enables his people to prosper and spread out through the world.

♣ Sixth day (vv. 24-31)

And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so … *So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. *God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground … *And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

God creates livestock, creatures that move along the ground, wild animals, and man. The Bible says that Moses built what he saw in heaven here on earth. If you look at Rv 4, it shows the images of the four living creatures in the spiritual heaven— the lion, ox, eagle, and man. The fact that God creates the livestock, wild animals, creatures that move along the ground, and man on earth, shows how he creates them according to what is done in heaven. Thus, the sixth day explains that God builds the structure of the four living creatures, the heavenly army on earth, according to the structure of the four living creatures in heaven.
Furthermore, God creates man in his own image and likeness. If one desires to resemble God’s image and likeness, and if he desires to become a person with the same nature as God’s, then he must be born again of God’s word and the holy spirit (Jn 3:5; 1 Pt 1:23).

God commands the man he created to be fruitful, increase in number, subdue the earth, and rule over the fish of the sea, birds of the air, and every living creature on earth. God also grants man every seed-bearing plant and every tree that has fruit with seed in it for his food. Through these blessings, the man becomes the lord of all creation and the heir to receive God’s inheritance. This is the creation on the sixth day.
God is the Lord of all creation. God creates his world (initial creation), but when that world becomes corrupt, he re-creates another world (re-creation). The creation during Moses’ time occurred after the times of Adam and Noah.

God figuratively uses the creation of the physical world to explain the spiritual creation. The reason why God uses metaphors and figurative language, to refer to the spiritual creation, is because it contains the secrets of the kingdom of heaven. God spoke to Moses, and Moses recorded what he had heard from God in Gn 1. Even in Gn 1, there are hidden things according to Ps 78. Jesus explained these hidden things through the parables at the first coming (Mt 13:34-35), and promised to let them be revealed at an appointed time (Jn 16:25).

The same content as Gn 1 can be seen in the Old and New Testaments, as well as the epistles. God creates a new world when the previous world comes to an end, due to its corruption. The work of creation takes place according to the logical order expressed in Gn 1, regardless of which generation. The physical sky and earth, however, remain forever.

God creates the new heaven and new earth in Rv 21. The same chapter makes known the first heaven and first earth cease to exist. Neither of these heavens and earths are the literal ones of the natural world, nor does the disappearing of the sun, moon, and stars refer to the literal ones of the natural world disappearing.

When this article says, the spiritual creation, it refers to the re-formation of God’s kingdom through the people who are born again spiritually. It is only when one completely understands and knows the entire book of the Bible, which records the true will of God, that he will also be able to clearly understand Gn 1.

Shincheonji word - Genesis Chapter 1(1)

Let us think about the Genesis Chapter 1.

Moses wrote the book of Genesis after he had heard its content from God. Genesis itself means the era of the beginning, the beginning of the human world with God.

The physical realm was created by the spiritual realm (Gn 1:26-27). In Genesis 1, God makes known the re-creation of the spiritual and physical worlds, by figuratively referring to the creation of the physical world. Concerning the history of the Bible, there has been the work of creation in each biblical generation, and the creation has been occurring in line with the logical order shown in Gn 1. After Adam, the world of Noah was created in this same manner. After Noah, the world of Moses was also created in the same logical order. The creation recorded in Jeremiah chapters 1-4 took place during Jesus’ time, and it was the same content as that of Gn 1.

The new work of creation takes place after the previous world is held captive by the gentiles, due to its betrayal. This is applicable to the times of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, and the first and second coming of Jesus. This new work of creation has occurred in each generation.

The words of the holy spirit (the Bible) can only be understood through the eyes and the heart of the holy spirit. It can never be perceived by the physical eyes and the experiences that people attain from the physical world.

God spoke in Psalm 78 saying, “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter hidden things, things from of old.” According to this very promise, Jesus came to the world and revealed the secrets of the kingdom of heaven through the parables. At his second coming, however, Jesus promised that these parables would be plainly explained, and everything would be spoken as clear facts, not as parables. Therefore, Jesus’ second coming is the time promised in Amos 3:7, when the plans of God (i.e. his secrets NKJV) will be revealed and testified (1 Cor 13:9-12).

♣ First day (vv. 1-5)

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. *Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the spirit of God was hovering over the waters. *And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. *God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. *God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” *And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

Let’s take a look at the figurative meanings of this passage.
There is no passage saying, God created the heaven and the earth on the first day. What, then, is the empty and formless earth? What is the dark sky? When did God create the waters, which He was hovering over?

On the first day, the earth, sky, and waters are already recorded in the scripture without being said that God created them. It also says God creates the light from the face of the waters. What happened to the earth that it became empty and formless? Why did the sky go dark? Why did God create the light from the face of the waters? The earth, sky, and waters already existed, these elements were not said to be created. There was light but there is nothing saying the sun was created.
The literal sun, moon, and stars are not on the surface of the waters, but they are in the physical sky. The scripture states, however, God was hovering over the waters and created light there. This obviously does not make sense if it is understood physically.

When the scripture states that God created the heavens and the earth, it does not
mean that God created them for the first time. The earth is figuratively referring to flesh (those who were formed out of the soil, Gn 2:7), and thus, when a person thoughts are mixed (with other doctrines), it can be described as the earth being mixed or formless. Furthermore, a person’s heart is likened unto a temple of the spirit of God (1 Cor 3:16). If the spirit of God leaves the person’s heart, then the heart of that person becomes empty. This is the status of the earth being empty.

What does it mean that the darkness was over the surface of the deep? The chosen people of God are the figurative sun, moon, and stars, who belong to heaven. If they fall from heaven and return to mere flesh, then it becomes the condition of being darkness. They began with the holy spirit, but they returned to mere flesh by some other force (Gal 3:3).

The scripture also describes how the spirit of God was hovering over the waters. The waters are not physical waters, but they symbolize the world (Dn 7:3, 17). God was hovering over the waters in order to find a light in the world. Having found the light, means having found the person with the word of light (the pastor with the truth).
The light appears in the midst of darkness, and there is a scripture which says, “There was evening, and there was morning.” In other words, God chooses a person with the truth like light from among the people whose hearts and spirits have gone dark, due to their ignorance (1 Thes 5:4-8). Selection of a person is the first thing God does when he begins the work of re-creation.

This can be proved by several passages in the Bible such as Jeremiah 4, 1 Thessalonians 5 John 1:1-5, John 12:46, Matthew 24, and Revelation 6. These passages contain things hidden from the creation of the world, and Jesus has revealed them through the parables. Please examine these references for yourselves.

♣ Second day (vv. 6-8)

And God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water.” *So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. *God called the expanse “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

After God chooses the light (the pastor] from the dark waters, God creates an expanse (i.e. the sky or heaven) between the waters on the second day. He also separates the water under the expanse from the water above it.

This is not the literal water in the world. How can the sky exist in the midst of the waters? The waters symbolize the world, and the expanse symbolizes the tabernacle, which God creates in the middle of the world. A ship in the midst of the sea, such as Noah’s ark, can also represent God’s tabernacle. The water above and the water below, refer to the revealed word granted from heaven, and the worldly words respectively. To say this again, after God finds and appoints the pastor of light from the previous destroyed world, God builds an ark or a tabernacle, and referred to it as the expanse in the world. After God’s tabernacle is established, his word from above can be clearly distinguished from the words of the world below.

♣ Third day (vv. 9-13)

And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. *God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good. *Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. *The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. *And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.

God creates a light on the first day and the expanse on the second day. On the third day, he gathers the water under the sky to one place, and he lets dry ground appear. God calls the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters “sea.” Since God formed a man out of dust or soil (Gn 2:7), the dry ground that appears on the third day symbolizes God’s chosen people as well as their tabernacle. The dry ground which appeared on the third day and the sky (the expanse) on the second day refers to the same tabernacle. However, if a difference between those two is to be said, the sky which is created on the second day is finally revealed to the world on the third day as “dry ground”.

God lets the ground produce grass, vegetation, and seed-bearing trees, which symbolize the believers(i.e. saints) of God. One pastor plays the roles of a light and the tabernacle in the sky, just as Jesus did at the time of his first coming. The vegetation, grass, and the trees are the people, who are born (i.e. evangelized), through this pastor and they are the dry ground, the flesh, which appears in the world (Rv 21:1).
