Who are the 144,000 people with the Lamb on Mount Zion?
Let's examine Revelation 7. There is an angel holding the seal of living God. The angel calls out to the other four gangels(Rev7:2).
「The angel said, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees, until we mark the servants of our God with a seal on their foreheads.” And I was told that the number of those who were marked with God's seal on their foreheads was 144,000.
They were from the twelve tribes of Israel, twelve thousand from each tribe: Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin.(Rev7:3-8)」
The New Testament is the new covenant Jesus established with his blood (Lk 22:20). The conclusion of the New Testament is the twelve tribes of God’s promised new kingdom. The 144,000 of the twelve tribes are those who are sealed (Rv 5:9-10), and the multitude in white are those whose sins have been washed away by Jesus’ blood (Rv 7:9-14). The sealed 144,000 are the priests (pastors) of God’s new kingdom, and the multitude in white is the new kingdom’s subjects (the congregation members) whose sins have been washed away. They were promised by the Lord with his blood at the First Coming; they are God’s kingdom and priests, and His people.
Who has ever given the answer to the question of 144,000 on mountain Zion and the multitude in white as well? so grateful!
