God and Jesus are the word and the truth (Jn 17:17; Jn 1:1-4; 1 Jn 1:1). First, let's examine the culture of heaven and the eternal truth of God’s word in the Bible.
Before the time of Moses, God's truth was spread only by word of mouth. Finally, God decided to give Moses the law so he could write it down. God's ultimate purpose in giving the law of Moses, though, was that it might lead people to Jesus Christ (Gal 3:23-25). When Jesus came, he was also charged with delivering the word of God. Although Jesus preached the gospel of heaven at the time of the first coming, the meaning of many of the words he spoke (especially the prophecies) were hidden in parables (Mt 13:34-25; Mk 4:10-12). When the prophecies appear as a physical reality, Jesus' parables are finally revealed in plain language (Jn 16:25) by the holy Spirit of the Counselor, who comes in the name of the Lord (Mt 23:29; Jn 14:26).
The Counselor is the Spirit of Truth and the truth is the word of God (Jn 14:16-17; Jn 17:17). The Counselor is the spirit of God that testifies about the words of Jesus (Rv 19:10). How does this spirit testify Jesus? The Spirit of the Counselor dwells within a person and guides his heart and mouth. That person speaks only what he hears from Jesus (Jn 14:16-17; Jn 16:13-15). The Spirit of the Counselor does not speak figuratively like Jesus—he speaks plainly about God (Jn 16:25). If Jesus spoke figuratively, why does the Spirit of the Counselor speak plainly? When the Spirit of the Counselor comes he testifies about what he has seen and heard not about what will take place in the future. The figurative language hides the details of what will occur in the future. The Spirit of the Counselor must testify according what he has witnessed because it has already happened. The prophecies are evidence that his testimony is true.
When does the Spirit of the Counselor appear? The Spirit comes when the prophecies of the New Testaments are fulfilled at the time of Jesus’ second coming (Rv 1:1; Rv 10:1; Rv 19:10). That is why he testifies about Jesus and the physical fulfillment. At the time of the first coming, God opened the sealed scroll of the Old Testament (Is 29: 9-14; Hb 2:2-3; Ez 2-3), gave it to Jesus, and then spoke through him (Jn 14:24). In the same way, Jesus opens the book of Revelation, which is the sealed scroll of the New Testament (Rv 5:7; Rv 6), and gives it to his chosen pastor so that he can testify on Jesus' behalf (Rv 10). This promised pastor preaches according to what he has seen and heard and he carries out God's commands just as Moses and Jesus did (Jn 5:17-19).
When the sealed book of Revelation is revealed, it is the most important era of all the 6,000 years of biblical history. The word that is preached at that time—the testimony about the physical fulfillment of the prophecies—is the most precious word of all time. The prophecies of the New Testament have become flesh and appeared in the physical world. Revelation is being revealed to the world. Before, the truth was hidden in figurative language, but everything is revealed at the time of Revelation’s fulfillment because that is when God’s work is completed (Rv 21:6).
Corrupt spiritual leaders (pastors) have persecuted and killed God's messengers in every generation because the words those messengers spoke were different from the words the corrupt pastors were preaching (Mt 23:34-35; Jn 8). Although Shinchonji Church of Jesus is being persecuted today, our persecution is occurring in fulfillment of the words of the Bible. It is also happening so the members of Shinchonji will be rewarded by God (Mt 5:110-12). We are being persecuted because we have the highest truth in the world. Shinchonji is the only place that has mastered the Bible and the only place that testifies about the fulfillment of Revelation. Those who believe will be saved, but those who refuse to believe will not.
People must come out of the darkness (ignorance) into the light of God's word. Now is the time to understand that all nations have gone astray. They have become a part of Babylon, the kingdom of demons, according to prophecy (Rv 17; Rv 18). Those who flee spiritual death in Babylon to pursue spiritual life in Shinchonji will be saved. Shinchonji is the tree of life and God's people eat its fruit. Some may not be able to believe this, but that does not change the fact that there is only one God, one Jesus, one Bible, one Spirit of the Counselor, one holy city New Jerusalem (Rv 3:12; Rv 4; Rv 21:2), one promised pastor (Rv 10; Rv 22:16), and one place all nations must come to worship (Rv 15:4-5). The 12 tribes of Shinchonji are God's kingdom and his promised temple. Those who come and are sealed by the promised pastor at this promised place will become the citizens of heaven and they will be saved (Rv 21:1; Rv 7; Rv 14:1-5).
